The 2018 AutoMobili-D featured more than 200 brands, ranging from automakers, to suppliers, to tech startups as well as universities and government organizations. No other event in North America provides an international platform for this vast array of companies, organizations and thought leaders under one roof.

In addition to the companies showcasing their new innovations, AutoMobili-D featured five days of mobility-themed content/presentations – topics ranging from suppliers driving mobility technology, V2I connectivity, urban mobility, smart cities, building a mobility workforce, ride sharing, cybersecurity and autonomous technologies.

Unique communities of participating companies and tech startups will cover the following five key mobility areas.

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation will play a significant role in supporting AutoMobili-D in 2019. PlanetM, the state’s partnership branding initiative to foster, retain and grow the mobility sector and position Michigan as the global epicenter for future transportation, will spearhead many new initiatives during the 2019 show, including:

• Future Automotive Career Exposition (FACE) – Back for the second year as part of AutoMobili-D, the Future Automotive Career Exposition (FACE) will highlight various aspects of the automotive industry and provide a platform for interested individuals to interact and connect with companies looking to fill positions covering all facets of the industry. The event is a partnership between NAIAS, the Michigan Department of Talent and Economic Development and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. It will be held on Thursday, January 17.
• Match Meetings – Through a series of vetted, prescheduled meetings participating AutoMobili-D companies will now be able to connect and meet with four key audience groups:

  • Startups
  • Suppliers
  • Venture Capitalists
